UNDERSTANDING COLOR THEORY

The goals of this lesson are to develop an understanding of:

1) The similarities and differences between two color systems:
Additive (RGB):
    red green blue  
 
  Subtractive (CMY):    
    cyan   magenta   yellow  

2) The color wheel and how to use it.


3)
The three properties of color: Hue, Value and Saturation.

4) Exploring color and using what you have learned.
