While part of the Learning & Development team at Kaiser's Human Resources Service Center, I created a series of eLearning modules for newly hired employees on topics related to Work Absence Mangement. The second one in the series was an overview of the Family & Medical Leave Act and other statues that affect employees' time-off benefits. I wrote the content by meeting regularly with subject matter experts and narrated the audio.

I joined McKesson Specialty Health's Solutions for Oncology team to develop a series of eLearning courses for salespeople. Each lesson introduced one of the products and services available to their customers and was written as an overview for new hire orientation. These were delivered via an LMS with completion required, including an 80% score on a 10-question assessment.

I created a series of "Take Five for Health Reform" multimedia seminars for Blue Shield of California. These were emailed weekly to over 5,000 employees and consistently received great reviews – 98% of respondents felt the presentations were informative and valuable.

I was an Instructional Designer and eLearning Developer with Stanford Hospital & Clinics from 10/07–3/10. We trained thousands of health care professionals to use Epic - an electronic patient medical record system – during a phased, organization-wide implementation. Although many eLearning lessons were interactive and without sound, some task-specific"snippets" were part of Help resources and included narration. Read my manager's recommendation (.doc)
