Web Design/Development

I began my multimedia career in 1996 as an Acquisitions Editor for Ziff-Davis Press, collecting material for CD-ROMs accompanying the book, LateNight Netscape Communicator. Since then, I've held many roles, both freelance and full-time, in web and graphic design and development. I was the Associate Art Director during MyPrimeTime's start-up, and the principal Web Producer at Triad, Inc., a small marketing and branding agency.

As an educator and instructional designer, I often draw upon skills that I initially honed as a web developer. For example, taking the end user's perspective when designing for the web is similar to being "learner-centric" when developing curriculum and training.
